Application Refers to any software program provided by Blue Parrot Software, including: The Periodic TE Game, Who Wants to Be a Winner, Discipline and Intervention Software, Textbook Management Software, Discipline App

Company refers to as either “Blue Parrot Software” , “Rowen Felton” , “we” or “us” in this agreement.

Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cell phone or a digital tablet.

Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.

Service refers to the Applications listed above.

Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analysing how the Service is used.

Third-party Social Media Service refers to any website or any social network website through which a user can log in or create an account to use the Service.

Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

You mean the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Minor refers to a person who is under the "age of majority" - the age at which a person is legally recognized as an adult in their country of residence. Minors are also considered to be under the care of a parent or guardian, unless they are emancipated.

Scope of Software

Our applications include educational and administrative tools, such as: The Periodic TE Game (educational chemistry game), Who Wants to Be a Winner (educational quiz game for ages 16+), Discipline and Intervention Software, Textbook Management Software, Discipline App.

Unless otherwise stated, these applications are not intended for use by minors and may include advertisements. They may collect Personal Data to help us improve our software packages and user experience.

Personal Data Collection

Blue Parrot Software may collect personal data for the purpose of: Improving software features, Providing user support, Ensuring data security, Delivering relevant content and advertisements

Personal Data is never knowingly collected from minors. If you are aware of unauthorized data collection, please contact us immediately.

The Periodic TE Game

• A paid for version with no advertisements and where no personal data collection takes place. Only the high score achieved by the user is stored on the device and this information can only be accessed by The PeriodicTE Game.

• A free version that contains advertisements through Google Admob. Only the high score achieved by the user is stored on the device and this information can only be accessed by The PeriodicTE Game.

Who Wants to Be a Winner

Targets individuals aged 16 years and older. May include advertisements in the future. Currently does not collect personal data beyond what is necessary for functionality.

Usage Data

We do not currently collect usage data knowingly. If that changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Google Advertising Service

As the free version of the PeriodicTE Game allows for Google Admob advertisements it is strongly advised that the user avails him or her of how Google uses the data that is collected when you use the vendors’ sites or applications through the PeriodicTE Game. Children's Privacy

Our free applications may show ads from third parties (via Google AdMob), which may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of these external sites.

Cookies

We do not use cookies in our apps. However, third-party services like Google AdMob may use cookies. Please review their privacy policies.

Prize money for completion of the full periodic table in the allotted time.

The company offers a prize to the value of 1000 ZAR (South African Rand) to any person over the age of 18 that completes the full periodic table in the allotted time. On the completion of the table a notification will pop up that will contain a code word and an email address. The winner will be invited to send this code word to the given email address. If the winner wants to claim the prize he or she will need to send to the company their postal address for delivery. If the winner does not want to give his or her postal address, then the prize will be forfeited.

The company will use the information provided by the winner only for the issuing of the prize.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
